For the CE Smith Trailer Hub Assembly # CE13311 you'll need a spindle for a 2,700 lb axle. We don't have one that works with that hub, but you'll just need to look for one that uses bearings L44649 for both the inner and outer bearing. Importantly, also be sure that the spindle is compatible with grease seal 12192TB, which has a 1.249" inner diameter, because there are spindles that are compatible with the L44649 bearings but don't have the right dimensions for the seal. view full answer...

As long you're performing proper maintenance to your trailer and your grease cap is on the EZ-lube grease zerk spindle # TRU74FR should last longer than a standard spindle. The fitting could allow for contaminates to get inside the spindle but that's where regular maintenance and the grease cap can prevent issues from forming. view full answer...
We have the #42 Spindle # TRU57FR that you can weld to your trailer. It is a 2-1/4" round stub as we do not have any square stub spindles that are rated for over 2,500lbs per spindle.
With these spindles you can use the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-655-6-K since you do not need a braking hub. The hub is 6 on 5-1/2" as the 5 lug wheels are not strong enough for the 10,000lb capacity that you are needing.

My recommendation is to replace your axle with a 5,200lb like # e55SR as the 4,400lb spindle is so uncommon they are not readily available. This will give you stronger components to lessen the chance of you having to replace a spindle in the future. Hey Troy, I am thinking that your axle is rated for either 9,000 or 10,000 lbs. The # 28580 inner and # 25580 outer bearings are the sizes for what we call a #99 spindle. The #99 trailer spindle is typically found on 9,000 lb and 10,000 lb axles. It is also most common for dual wheel trailers to use 9K or 10K axles. The 3" axle tube and 8 lug wheel also points to 9K or 10K.

We have ran into your request before. So I have an interesting solution. Your Hadco Drums use a Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing item # 501349 and a Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing item # LM67048. We have no hubs whatsoever available for this combo let alone ones as specific as you are requesting.
In order to add a idler hub with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern like item # AKIHUB-545-35-K you are going to have to replace your spindles with one of the following options:

Hey Mark, thanks for the pictures. That is a pretty interesting trailer. I can't say I have seen anything like that before on a trailer with a single leaf spring spanning the whole axle like that. It almost looks homemade or like someone used an axle or transverse leaf spring from an old car. Anyways, the hub appears to be a 4 lug idler hub, but I am afraid I can't give you any more specifics beyond that just by looking at a picture.

Heintz, thanks for measuring your spindle but unfortunately it looks like we don't carry any replacements for a 1 3/8" spindle because it is a pretty unusual and uncommon size.
The best thing you can do in this situation is replace the entire axle with that have spindles with a more common size. To get a replacement axle you're just going to first need to know what the weight capacity is, and then measure the hub face to hub face and the spring center to spring center.

Hey Joseph, depending on your bolt pattern I'd recommend going with either the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles # AKIHUB-545-2-G-1K for a 5 on 4 1/2" or the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles # AKIHUB-440-2-G-1K for a 4 on 4.

I can help you determine what you are going to need Robert, but unfortunately there is no database to look up information on trailers as manufacturers are not required to do so like they are with vehicles.
You are going to have to remove one of your hubs and use a Caliper # PTW80157 to measure the different landing points on your spindle. I have included an image below that will help guide you on the points on the spindle to measure.
